Patrolman Michael Palmer received a report of theft from a residence in the 300 block of Monmouth Avenue.
Updated September 26th, subject has been identified and charged; ring was returned.
Patrolman William Kelly received a report of a burglary to a residence in the 100 block of Passaic Avenue.
Officer David Bowen received a report of burglary to a residence in the 100 block of Washington Avenue.

Kyle McKay 26, Freehold was arrested in the 300 block of Washington Avenue by Patrolman Emmett Smith. Â McKay was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be heroin, possession of an unknown controlled dangerous substance, unlawful possession of a weapon, use / or under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.
Officer Kyle Dick received a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Ocean Avenue.
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Nccozana Coombs 27, Ewing Township was arrested by Officer Matthew Phillips. Â Coombs was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.
Spring Lake Police received reports of a vessel that had crashed into the rocks at Newark Avenue Beach.  The First reports had multiple victims in the water and the possibility of a victim trapped under the vessel.  Initial responding Patrolman Emmett Smith, Patrolman Sean Duggan & Chief Edward Kerr entered the water and found three victims on the vessel.  Shortly after Patrolman Michael Palmer, Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka as well as members of the Spring Lake Heights Police Department, Wall Police Department, Lake Como Police Department, Spring Lake Fire & First Aid Squad, Spring Lake Heights Fire Company, Belmar First Aid, Wall Fire Companies and  after hours rescue swimmer teams from SMART and Belmar arrived to assist.  All three victims were removed from the vessel and were transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.  New Jersey State Police Marine Unit arrived and will be investigating the cause of the crash.

Sergeant Patrick Gilroy received a report of theft of a bicycle from the area of the South End Pavilion.
Patrolman William Kelly received a report of harassing phone calls from a resident in the 100 block of Jersey Avenue.
