Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, James Martin 18, Howell was arrested by Officer David Bowen. Â Martin was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be under 50 grams of marijuana as well as possession of controlled dangerous paraphernalia.
Bryan Watkins 44, Spring Lake was arrested by Patrolman Ryan Reiff. Â Watkins was charged with harassment.

Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of harassment from a resident in the 1300 block of Third Avenue.

Mutinta Mwiinga 26, Spring Lake was arrested by Patrolman James Heine. Â Mwiinga was charged with simple assault in the 500 block of Third Avenue
Patrolman William Kelly received a report of theft by deception in the 300 block of Morris Avenue.
Cherrelle Rainey 23, Long Branch was arrested by Patrolman James Heine based on an outstanding warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Benjamin Cutler 21, Short Hills was arrested by Patrolman James Heine. Â Cutler was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

Patrolman Ryan Reiff received a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 300 block of Morris Avenue.
June 2nd
Officer Kyle Dick received a report of theft by deception and forgery from a business in the 400 block of Warren Avenue. Â Detective Sergeant Christopher is investigating.
