S.O. Mark Casagrande received a report of theft from the area of Ocean Avenue and Jersey Avenue. Â The victim advised that the theft had occurred sometime during the previous week.
Sgt. Steven Blecki responded to the 200 block of Monmouth Avenue for a theft complaint. Victim advised the theft occurred on August 9th.
S.O. William Kelly and Det. Christopher Kucinski responded to the 200 block of Monmouth Avenue for a theft report.

S.O. William Noble received a report of theft from the area of Ocean Avenue & Jersey Avenue.

Ptl. Emmett Smith responded to the Salem Avenue Beach for a commercial plane that had lost it’s banner in the ocean. Ptl. Smith, with the assistance of the Spring Lake Lifeguards was able to retrieve the banner and return it to the owners.
Matthew Ficke 23, Madison was issued a summons for breach of peace by Ptl. Michael Palmer in the 1500 Block of Ocean Avenue.

With the summer season coming to a close the Spring Lake Police Department is requesting that all business owners and residents complete updated emergency contact information forms and return them to the police department.
The Spring Lake Police Department is looking to locate the owner of the bicycle pictured below. Â Bicycle was located after the arrest of a subject for similar thefts. Â Owner needs to be able to provide proof ownership (serial number) or confirm the combination for the lock that was attached to the bike.
