Patrolman Joseph Liddy received a report of identity theft from a victim in the 1400 block of Ocean Avenue.

Patrolman Joseph Liddy and Patrolman Jeffrey Algor responded to Pazienza Park for a suspicious incident.

Patrolman Joseph Liddy responded to the 2000 block of Ocean Avenue for a report of a bicyclist struck by a motor vehicle. Bicyclist refused medical treatment. Patrolman Jeffrey Algor is assisting in the investigation.

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Juan Morales 23, Newark & Marbel Alicea 40, Newark were arrested in the 000 block of Pitney Avenue by Patrolman Joseph Liddy. Morales was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Alicea was arrested based on active warrants out of other jurisdictions. Alicea was also issued summons for motor vehicle violations.

Officer Amy Beringer received a report of theft from a business in the 1400 block of Third Avenue. Owner stated that the theft occurred sometime during the July 4th weekend.

Patrolman William Noble responded to the 400 block of Jersey Avenue for a report of harassment.

Sergeant Patrick Gilroy responded to the 2500 block of Ocean Avenue for a dispute.

Patrolman Joseph Liddy responded to the intersection of Third Avenue and Pitney Avenue for a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Patrolman Ryan Reiff and Patrolman Jeffrey Algor are assisting with the investigation.

Patrolman Joseph Liddy responded to the area of Brown Avenue Beach for a reported dispute.

Cindy Urken 69, Skillman, NJ was arrested by Sergeant Patrick Gilroy in the 1500 block of Ocean Avenue. Skillman was charged with defiant trespass and disorderly conduct.

Patrolman William Noble responded to Marucci Park for a juvenile incident. Juvenile was counselled and released to a guardian.

Patrolman William Noble received a report of theft of a bicycle from a residence in the 200 block of Lorraine Avenue.

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of a suspicious incident in the 2300 block of Ocean Avenue.

Patrolman Ryan Reiff responded to the area of Brown Avenue Parking Lot for a dispute.

Patrolman Jeffrey Algor received a report of a suspicious incident at a residence in the 800 block of Ocean Avenue. Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is assisting in the investigation.

Patrolman Emmett Smith and Patrolman Joseph Liddy responded to the North End Pavilion for a trespassing complaint.
