Officer Andrew Baier received a report of a stolen bicycle from the area of Lorraine Avenue Beach.

Patrolman Ryan Reiff received a report of attempted fraud to a business in the 500 block of Warren Avenue.
June 2nd
Sergeant Patrick Gilroy attempted to stop a suspicious motor vehicle in the 1700 block of Second Avenue. The vehicle as well as another in the area fled the scene at a high rate of speed. Sergeant Gilroy terminated the pursuit for safety and returned to the area were the vehicle were observed. Located in the 170000 block of Second Avenue was a burglary and attempted theft to motor vehicles. Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is assisting in the investigation.

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of a stolen motor vehicle from the 000 block of Tuttle Avenue. Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is assisting in the investigation.
UPDATED June 2, 2020: Vehicle was recovered in Newark, NJ, suspects still outstanding.
Patrolman Jeffrey Algor received two reports of burglary and attempted theft from motor vehicles in the 000 block of Tuttle Avenue.
May 30th
Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski received a report of fraudulent activity to a business.
Luiz Victor Melgaco-Matos 22, Kearny was arrested in the 400 block of Ocean Avenue by Patrolman Joseph Liddy. Melgaco-Matos was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance believed to be under 50 grams of marijuana as well as possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.
May 29th
Officer Joseph Liddy received a report of a stolen bicycle from a residence in the 400 block of Ludlow Avenue. Bicycle was located a short while later, determined to be a misunderstanding.

Patrolman William Kelly responded to the 400 block of Ocean Road for a reported neighbor dispute.
