Patrolman William Noble responded to the 200 block of Vroom Avenue for a report of criminal mischief to a residence.

UPDATED 08/28/2019 – Actor identified and charged

Subsequent to an investigation Patrolman William Noble filed juvenile complaints against a 16 year old male for theft of a bicycle on July 24, 2019. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending action by the Family Court.

Officer Joseph Liddy received a report of theft from a vehicle while parked in the area of Ocean Avenue near Washington Avenue.

August 20th

Patrolman James Heine responded to the 100 block of Vroom Avenue for a report of theft.

UPDATED 08/20/2019 – Actors identified,

Patrolman William Kelly responded to the are of Marucci Park for a report of juveniles causing criminal mischief. Patrols located the two (2) juveniles actors. The juveniles were transported to Spring Lake Police Headquarters where they were released to their guardians.

Officer Jeffrey Lewandowski received a report of a stolen bicycle from the area of the Brighton Avenue boardwalk

Sergeant Patrick Gilroy received a report of criminal mischief to a residence in the 400 block of Shore Road. Sergeant Gilroy was able to identify six (6) juveniles who were present during the incident. Juveniles & their guardians were contacted and advised. Reports were forwarded to the Monmouth County Family Court for further action.

August 15th

Subsequent to the investigation for a Borough Ordinance violation on Lorraine Avenue Beach, Lisette Cruz, 21, North Brunswick was arrested by Officer Joseph Liddy. Cruz was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be under 50 grams of marijuana as well as possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Officer Michael Weber and Officer Anthony Bartolomei assisted in the arrest.

August 14th

Officer Joseph Liddy received a report of a stolen bicycle from the area of the 300 block of Ludlow Avenue.

Patrolman William Kelly observed three (3) juveniles on a construction site in the 300 block of St. Clair Avenue. All of the juveniles were counseled and released to their guardians.

August 11th

Officer Christopher McDermott and Patrolman Jeffrey Algor responded to the 100 block of Ludlow for a report of an attempted burglary that occurred in the past.  The victim reported that the incident occurred the prior evening.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is assisting in the investigation.

Officer Tiffany Brahn received a report of theft from the area of Lorraine Avenue Beach Front.

Officer Christopher McDermott responded to the area of the North End Pavilion for a report of a dispute.
