Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka and Patrolman William Kelly responded to the 100 block of Jersey Avenue for a burglary and attempted theft. Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the are of Third Avenue and South Boulevard, Juan Flores-Hernandez 48, Toms River was arrested by Patrolman William Noble. Flores-Hernandez was arrested based on multiple outstanding warrants out of other jurisdictions.
December 23rd
Patrolman Joseph Liddy received a report of theft by deception from a victim in the 1900 block of Adrian Avenue.
December 22nd
Patrolman Joseph Liddy received a report of identity theft and fraud from a victim in the 400 block of Mercer Avenue.
December 18th
Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of identity theft and fraud from a victim in the 400 block of Brighton Avenue.
December 17th
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Third Avenue and South Boulevard, Herder Pisco 34, Bayville was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Liddy. Herder was charged with driving while intoxicated as well as several other motor vehicle offenses.
Patrolman Jeffrey Algor received a report of burglary and criminal mischief to a business in the 1400 block of Third Avenue.
December 16th
Patrolman Joseph Liddy and Patrolman William Kelly were dispatched to the area of Ocean Road and the NJ Transit Railroad Tracks for a report of an individual struck by a train. Patrols responded and located a single deceased male victim. NJ Transit Police is investigating.
December 14th
Christopher Angulo, 43 Forked River, was charged with harassment by Patrolman Jeffrey Algor.
Patrolman Joseph Liddy received a report of a suspicious incident in the 2200 block of First Avenue. Victim reported the incident took place on December 13th.
