Power Outage – Saturday 10/1/16

A large portion of the Borough is currently experiencing a power outage due to storm damaged electrical equipment. There is no specific timetable for restoration, however, those residents should expect to be without power until at least early afternoon. JCP&L is aware of the problem and working diligently to make repairs. Please limit your calls to headquarters for emergencies only. We will send out another update if and when we receive more specific information from JCP&L. Thank you and be safe.

September 5th

Brendan Dolan 51, Spring Lake was arrested by Sergeant Timothy Moran. Dolan was arrested based on a warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Thomas Szymanski 57, Spring Lake Heights was arrested by Officer Ian Davis based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Officer Kyle Dick received a report of burglary and theft of a bicycle from a garage in the 000 block of Jersey Lane.

September 4th

Officer William Noble received a report of theft from a business in the 200 block of Morris Avenue.

Samuel Darche 28, Spring Lake was arrested by Matthew Phillips and charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct in the 1400 block of Third Avenue.

Priti Patel 38, CLiffside Park was arrested by Patrolman Emmett Smith. Patel was charged with simple assault in the 1500 block of Ocean Avenue.

Sunny Lakhani 41, Rego Park, NY was arrested by Patrolman Emmett Smith. Lakhani was charged with simple assault in the 1500 block of Ocean Avenue.

August 31st

Officer Ian Davis received a report of theft of a bicycle from the area of the Sussex Avenue Beach. Victim reports that the theft occurred on August 28th.

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Christine Sims 44, Spring Lake was arrested by Patrolman Matthew Phillips based on a warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of theft from the area of the St. Clair Avenue Boardwalk.

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of harassment from a victim in the 400 block of Passaic Avenue.

August 30th

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Roberto Beltrami 20, Freehold was arrested by Patrolman William Kelly based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Sergeant Patrick Gilroy received a report of fraud from a victim in the 000 block of Monmouth Shire Lane.
