Spring Lake Sea Girt Little League Parade
On Saturday, May 3 at 8:15 am the Spring Lake Sea Girt Little League will be holding their Parade &Â Opening Day Ceremony. Â The Parade will start from the flag pole at Third Avenue & Passaic Avenue. Â Players & Coaches will be walking down Third Avenue to Marucci Park. Â A Opening Day Ceremony will follow the Parade at Marucci Park.

Walk MS
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will be hosting the annual Walk MSÂ event on Sunday April 27 starting at 8 am. Â The walk will be entering Spring Lake from Lake Como on Third Avenue continuing to Pitney Avenue where participants will be walking east to the Spring Lake Boardwalk to the South End Pavilion. Â Participants will be returning the same route.

Easter Egg Hunt
On April 19th the Spring Lake Goodwill Fire Company # 2 will be holding it’s annual Easter Egg Hunt at Divine Park (Passaic Avenue) starting at 11 am. Â The event is open to Spring Lake Residents from 0 to 8 years of age. Registration is Friday, April 18 from 5p-7p and April 19 between 9a-10:30a. Rain date for the event is Easter Sunday at 11 am.

Dogs on the Boardwalk
With the nicer weather approaching we would like to remind you that dogs are permitted on the beach until May 14th.
Dogs are PROHIBITED from walking on the boardwalk at all times.
April 16th
A 16 year old juvenile from Toms River was arrested by Ptl. Ryan Reiff. Â The juvenile was charged with hindering apprehension, underage driving while intoxicated, as well as other motor vehicle offenses. Â The juvenile was release to a guarding pending action by the family court.
April 14th
Sgt. Patrick Gilroy received a report of theft from a resident in the 200 block of Worthington Avenue.
April 13th & 14th
Patrols responded to the beachfront for reports of a seal that was washed up on the beach. Â The seal was located and Marine Mammal Stranding Center was contacted to respond out to check on it.
April 12th
Ptl. Ryan Reiff received a report of harassment from a victim on the boardwalk near St. Clair Avenue.
