October 12th
Patrolman Ryan Reiff responded to the 1500 block of Ocean Avenue for a report of theft.
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Third Avenue and South Boulevard Lucas Lavecchia 29, Toms River was arrested by Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka. Lavecchia was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of controlled dangerous paraphernalia, as well as active warrants out of other jurisdictions.
October 5th
Sergeant Sean Duggan received a report of trespassing in the 000 block of Salem Avenue.
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop near the intersections of South Boulevard and Fourth Avenue, Dylan Firzgerald 27, Belmar was arrested by Patrolman Ryan Reiff. Fitzgerald was arrested based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.
October 4th
Sergeant Sean Duggan received a complaint of vandalism in the 300 block of Washington Avenue.
October 1st
Patrolman James Heine responded tot he 400 block of St Clair Avenue for a report of criminal mischief.
Patrolman Matthew Phillips responded to the 700 block of Fifth Avenue for a report of attempted burglary.
September 30th
Subsequent to a motor vehicle accident investigation Linda Harding 74, Manasquan was arrested by Patrolman Matthew Phillips in the area of Third Avenue and South Boulevard. Harding was charged with driving while intoxicated as well as other motor vehicle violations.
September 29th
Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka and Patrolman Emmett Smith responded to the Newark Avenue Beach for a report of a swimmer in distress. Upon arrival victim was located and assisted out of the water prior to patrols arrival.
September 26th
Patrolman Matthew Phillips and Patrolman James Heine responded to the Essex Avenue beach for a report of six swimmers in distress. Upon arrival officers located two victims on the jetty with the other four victims out of the water. The last two victims were assisted off the jetty and out of the water by patrols. All of the individuals were evaluated by Spring Lake First Aid and refused medical treatment.
September 25th
Patrolman Michael Palmer received a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle in the 2000 block of Ocean Avenue.
September 16th
Sergeant Sean Duggan received a report of harassment from a victim in the 200 block of Essex Avenue.
