Domantas Cincius 18, Spring lake Heights was arrested in the 200 block of Washington Avenue by Patrolman Emmett Smith. Cincius was arrested based on active warrants out of Spring Lake.
September 28th
Sean Gatling 44, Staten Island was arrested by Patrolman Jeffrey Algor. Gatling was arrested by Holmdel Police, and was found to have an active warrant out of Spring Lake. Gatling was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail.
September 25th
Patrolman Michael Palmer And Patrolman Jeffrey Algor responded to the Salem Avenue Beach for a report of a swimmer in distress. Upon arrival patrols located a single victim that was being assisted out of the water by Spring Lake Lifeguards and Spring Lake Police Sergeant Sean Duggan (off duty). The victim refused any and all medical assistance.

On October 7, 2017 the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh will be hosting a 5K starting from 16th Avenue in Lake Como at 9:00 am. Â The race will travel through portions of the Borough of Spring Lake.

September 24th
Patrolman Micheal Palmer received a report of theft of a motor vehicle from the 300 block of Pitney Avenue. Â Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.
Patrolman Ryan Reiff & Patrolman Michael Palmer responded to Lorraine Avenue Beach for a report of a swimmer in distress. Upon arrival patrols found the victim was assisted out of the water by a off-duty lifeguard. The victim was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center as a precaution.
Patrolman William Kelly & Patrolman James Heine responded to the 400 block of Ocean Road for a reported dispute.
September 20th
Leif Ohlsson 37, Forked River was arrested by Patrolman Michael Palmer in the area of Marucci Park. Â Ohlsson was arrested based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Patrolman James Heine received a report of theft of bicycles from the area of Marucci Park.

Officer William Noble received a report of theft of a bicycle from the 2100 block of Third Avenue.

Patrolman Michael Palmer received a report of theft of a bicycle from a residence in the 300 block of Jersey Avenue.
