July 15th

Patrolman Jeffrey Algor responded to a residence in the 300 block of Pitney Avenue for a report of burglary, theft, criminal trespass & criminal mischief.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is assisting in the investigation.

Officer Joseph Liddy received a report of harassment from a individual at the North End Pavilion.

July 9th

Patrolman William Kelly received a report of burglary and theft from a residence in the 1200 block of Fifth Avenue.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.

Officer William Noble received a report of burglary and criminal trespass to a vehicle in the 400 block of Jersey Avenue.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.

July 7th

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop Carlos Torres 20, Philadelphia, PA was arrested in the 300 block of South Boulevard by Patrolman Emmett Smith.  Torres was arrested based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Officer William Noble received a report of theft of a bicycle from the 2100 block of Third Avenue.  The victim report that the bicycle was taken July 3rd or 4th.

Subsequent to a motor vehicle accident at Third Avenue and Brighton Avenue, Benjamin Cebula 22, Millburn was arrested by Patrolman Mathew Phillips.  Cebula was charged with driving while intoxicated as well as other motor vehicle offenses.

July 6th

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of burglary and theft from a residence in the 200 block of Worthington Avenue.

Thomas Clayton 55, Spring Lake was arrested by Patrolman Matthew Phillips.  Clayton was charged with criminal trespass in the 300 block of Passaic Avenue.

Kathleen Clayton 53, Spring Lake was arrested by Patrolman Matthew Phillips.  Clayton was charged with theft as well as theft by deception.

July 5th

Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of harassment from a individual in the 1300 block of Third Avenue.

Officer Matthew Merklinger received a report of theft of a bicycle from the area of the North End Pavilion.  The victim reported that the theft occurred in the evening hours of July 4th.
