Patrolman Sean Duggan responded to a report of a suspicious bag left unattended a the Spring Lake Train Station. Â Owner of the bag was identified and found to have left the bag behind by mistake.

Patrolman Michael Palmer and Patrolman Sean Duggan received a report of a dispute in the  1400 block of Third Avenue.
Patrolman Sean Duggan and Sergeant Patrick Gilroy responded to the 000 block of Pitney Avenue for burglary and theft to a residence. Â Patrolman Emmett Smith and his K9 partner Ersko and Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski assisted with the investigation.
October 3rd
Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of a theft of a bicycle from a residence in the 100 block of Brighton Avenue. Â The theft reportedly occurred in late May or Early June.
October 1st
Patrolman James Heine and Patrolman Ryan Reiff responded to a transformer fire in the area of St. Clair Avenue and First Avenue. Â Spring Lake Fire Companies, Spring Lake First Aid, and JCP&L responded to handle issue. Â The fire caused power outages in the area for a period of time.
September 28th
Patrolman Sean Duggan received a report of fraud from a resident in the 700 block of Ocean Avenue.

Power Outage – Saturday 10/1/16
A large portion of the Borough is currently experiencing a power outage due to storm damaged electrical equipment. There is no specific timetable for restoration, however, those residents should expect to be without power until at least early afternoon. JCP&L is aware of the problem and working diligently to make repairs. Please limit your calls to headquarters for emergencies only. We will send out another update if and when we receive more specific information from JCP&L. Thank you and be safe.

Andrew McDonald 43, Spring Lake was arrested by Patrolman Emmett Smith in the 1500 block of Ocean Avenue. McDonald was charged with Defiant Trespass and Breach of Peace.
September 17th
Patrolman Sean Duggan received a report of burglary and theft from a motor vehicle in the 000 block of Red Oak Drive.
September 10th
Samuel Darche 28, Spring Lake was arrested by Patrolman Matthew Phillips. Darche was charged with terrorist threats.
