Officer William Flockhart received a report of a stolen bicycle from the area of the North End Pavilion
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop Lauren Taylor 21, Jackson was arrested by Patrolman Matthew Phillips based on an outstanding warrant out of another jurisdiction.
Officer Joseph Liddy received a report of a stolen bicycle from a garage of a residence in the 500 block of Tuttle Avenue. Â Victim reports that the theft occurred on May 28th

Patrolman Ryan Reiff and Patrolman Emmett Smith responded to the 100 block of Pitney Avenue for a dispute.
May 27th
Patrolman William Kelly responded to the 400 block of Central Avenue for a neighbor dispute.
May 26th
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Samuel Legg 31, Toms River was arrested by Patrolman Ryan Reiff. Â Legg was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest as well as other motor vehicle violations.
Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of burglary and theft from unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Ludlow Avenue. Â Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.

Patrolman William Kelly received a report of identity theft from a resident in the 700 block of Ocean Avenue.
May 22nd
Patrolman Matthew Phillips revived a report of burglary, criminal mischief and theft from a business in the 500 block of Passaic Avenue. Â Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.
May 19th
Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of theft by deception from a business in the 200 block of Morris Avenue. Â The victim reported receiving a call from someone advising that they were a representative from Jersey Central Power & Light. Â The caller stated that the business was behind on their electric bill and that the power would be shut off if they did not make a payment using a MoneyPak card. Â Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of a stolen bicycle from H.W. Mountz school that occurred on May 18th.
May 16th
Patrolman Matthew Phillips and Sergeant Patrick Gilroy were dispatched to the 200 block of Monroe Avenue for a burglar alarm activation. Â Upon arrival officers located evidence of several attempts to gain entry to the residence. Â Patrolman Emmett Smith and K9 Ersko along with officers from surrounding agencies assisted in a search of the area. Â The search of the area was negative. Â Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is assisting in the investigation.
May 15th
Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of theft of a bicycle from the front of a residence in the 300 block of Brighton Avenue.
Public Information
On July 11th at approximately 7:30pm, Spring Lake Police Department received a call of an attempted luring that occurred 20 minutes in the past. Â Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate a subject or vehicle matching the description.
On July 12th, Sergeant Timothy Moran and Patrolman Michael Palmer conducted interviews with the victims. Â Through the investigation Officers were able to identify the subject and vehicle. Â The victims positively identified the vehicle and subject as the one that they called about on July 11th. Â Officers interviewed the subject and are confident that the incident was not an attempted luring.
All citizens are encouraged to speak with their children about these types of incidents. Â If they encounter someone or see something suspicious please urge your children to immediately contact the Spring Lake Police Department at 732-449-1234 or 9-1-1.
