Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Ashley Sculthorpe 24, Howell was arrested by Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka based on active warrants out of other jurisdictions.

October 7th
In the early morning hours, Spring Lake Police received a report of  fire inside a business in the 1100 block of Third Avenue.  Patrols responded and located the fire in Savvy Styles Salon.  Fire Departments and First Aid responded and were able to quickly extinguish the fire.  Fire is believe to have started by an unattended candle.
Patrolman Ryan Reiff received a report of harassment from a victim that walked into Spring Lake Police Headquarters.
October 5th
Subsequent to investigation, Â Noel Cacho, 18, Keansberg, was arrested by Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski. Â Cacho was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, one count of criminal trespass and one count of criminal mischief. Â Cacho was charged in reference to the burglaries to the Brown Avenue Concession Stand and the Marucci Park Little League Shack.
October 1st
Subsequent to investigation, Hiram Polanco 19, Keansburg arrested by Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski. Â Polanco was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, and one count of criminal mischief. Â Polanco was charged in reference to the burglaries to the Brown Avenue Concession Stand and the Marucci Park Little League Shack.
September 26th
Subsequent to investigation, Erin O’Leary 27, Bradley beach was arrested by Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski. Â O’Leary was charged with a theft that occurred on August 5th.
September 24th
Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka received a report of harassment from a resident in the 000 block of Union Avenue.
September 16th
Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of harassment from a resident in the 100 block of Salem Avenue.
Patrolman James Heine received a report of theft from the area of the South End Pavilion.
September 15th
Sergeant Patrick Gilroy received a report of criminal mischief to the bathroom doors at Pier Beach.
September 13th
Sergeant Patrick Gilroy received a report of theft of a bicycle from the victim that came into Police Headquarters.
September 7th
A 15 year old male from Spring Lake and a 14 year old male from Summit were taken into custody by Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka. Â The juvenile were found in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Â Both were release to guardians and paperwork was forwarded to the Monmouth County Family Court for processing.
