Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of burglary and theft from a vehicle in the 2100 block of Edgewood Place.
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Joel Krauss 63, Asbury Park was arrested for driving while intoxicated as well as other motor vehicle offenses.

Michael Goodrich 40, Manalapan was arrested for simple assault in the area of the 100 block of Sussex Avenue, Sergeant Patrick Gilroy made  the arrest.

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Thomas Gibson, Jackson was arrested by Patrolman Emmett Smith for  driving while intoxicated as well as other motor vehicle offenses.
Patrolman Michael Palmer received a report of theft from the area of the 400 block of Church Street.
April 4th
During the opening day for the fishing tournament at Spring Lake Officers observed a boat capsize in the middle of the lake near Second Avenue. Â Patrolman Emmett Smith and Patrolman William Kelly responded into the lake to assist the lone occupant of the boat safely to shore. Â All parties were check by Spring Lake First Aid and refused further medical treatment.
