Marucci Park, two male juveniles, one from Belmar and one from Manasquan were arrested by Ptl. Emmett Smith. Â Both were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, suspected to be under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Â Both juveniles were released to a guardian pending action by the Monmouth County Family Court.

Anthony Garofalo 46, Wall Township was arrested by Ptl. Timothy Moran for Theft and Forgery.
May 13th
Spring Lake Heights Police were investigating a hit and run motor vehicle accident that occurred on State Highway 71. Â Sgt. Patrick Gilroy and Ptl. Jeffrey Poland assisted the Spring Lake Heights Police Department in locating the vehicle in the 200 block of Madison Avenue. Â Occupants were also located and turned over to Spring Lake Heights Police for further.
May 5th
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Warren Kraft 52, Middletown was arrested by Sgt. Patrick Gilroy, based on outstanding warrants out of other jurisdictions.
Wreck Pond
7/15/2014 8:40:00 PM EST – This is the Borough of Spring Lake with an important message for residents near Wreck Pond. To help mitigate flooding the DPW will be removing sand on the beach adjacent to the outflow pipe near Brown Avenue to allow water to flow out of the pond and into the ocean. Please take necessary measures to protect your property from flooding and move vehicles to higher ground if necessary.
April 29th
Det. Christopher Kucinski received a report from a Real Estate Agent of fraudulent listing of a home for rent on craigslist. Â The agent reported that the home was currently listed for sale and they had located the home on craigslist with the same pictures and a similar description. Â Det. Kucinski was able to contact the owner of the home and confirm that the listing was fraudulent. Â The listing was removed and craigslist was informed of the issue.
