Patrolman Joseph Liddy responded to the 500 block of Monmouth Avenue for criminal trespass and attempted burglary to a motor vehicle.

Patrolman Emmett Smith responded to Divine Park for a suspicious incident.

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of burglary and theft to a motor vehicle in the 500 block of Essex Avenue. Victim reports that the incident took place sometime between the evening of November 15th to the early morning hours of November 16th.

Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka and Patrolman Jeffrey Algor responded to the 200 block of South Boulevard for a report of theft of a motor vehicle.

UPDATED 11/16: Vehicle recovered by Newark PD, Investigation continuing.

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of burglary and attempted theft from a motor vehicle in the 100 block of Madison Avenue.

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Ocean Avenue and Essex Avenue, Steven Vermeulen 54, Brick was arrested by Patrolman James Heine. Vermeulen was charged with driving while intoxicated as well as several other motor vehicle offenses.

Patrolman William Kelly responded to the 000 block for a reported burglary.

Patrolman Joseph Liddy received a report of theft of a bicycle from the 500 block of Passaic Avenue.

Sergeant Sean Duggan and Patrolman Joseph Liddy responded to the area of Passaic Avenue Beach for a report of swimmers in distress. Upon arrival all parties were out of the water and refused medical assistance.

Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka and Patrolman William Kelly responded to the are of Essex Avenue Beach for a lewdness complaint.

Patrolman James Heine responded to the area of Ocean Avenue and Monroe Avenue for a suspicious person.
