Sergeant Sean Duggan and Patrolman Jeffrey Algor were dispatched to the area of Ocean Avenue and Union Avenue for an active structure fire. Upon arrival patrols located an unoccupied residence in the 000 block of Union Avenue with an active fire. Fire Departments from Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, Wall Township, West Belmar and Belmar responded. No injuries were reported. Monmouth County Fire Marshall and Patrolman Jeffrey Algor are investigating.

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of a dispute from a resident in the 400 block of Ludlow Avenue.
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Brown Avenue and Ocean Avenue James Walsh 28, Wall was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Liddy. Walsh was charged with driving under the influence as well as several other motor vehicle offenses.
October 24th
Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of a road rage incident in the area of Ocean Avenue and Essex Avenue.

Patrolman Joseph Liddy received a report of a suspicious incident in the area of the 500 block of Jersey Avenue.

Patrolman Ryan Reiff received a report of theft from a business in the 1100 block of Third Avenue.
Patrolman Ryan Reiff received a report of fraud from a victim in the 000 block of Pitney Avenue
October 8th
Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of a stolen bicycle from a victim in the 400 block of Ludlow Avenue.
UPDATE: Victim reported that they had located the bicycle, no theft occurred
October 7th
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Second Avenue and Monroe Avenue, John Dwyer 66, Suffern, NY was arrested by Patrolman Matthew Phillips. Dwyer was charged with driving under the influence as well as several other motor vehicle offenses.
