December 13th

Patrolman Michael Palmer and Sergeant Timothy Moran responded to a report of a vehicle on the railroad tracks near the Ocean Road crossing.  Officers found that the operator was unfamiliar with the area and made a wrong turn.  Vehicle became stuck on the tracks.  Vehicle was removed without incident and all parties were not injured.

December 10th

Patrolman William Kelly and Sergeant Timothy Moran responded to Salem Avenue Beach for a report of a vehicle stuck.  Vehicle was removed without incident and operator was issued several motor vehicle summons.

November 30th

North End Beach, Spring Lake Police received reports of a surf kite in the water with no one visible in the area of it.  Patrolman Michael Palmer, Patrolman James Heine, and water rescue teams were dispatched.  Shortly after patrols arrival on scene the owner of the kite arrived in his vehicle.  The owner stated that he had fallen off and lost the kite in the ocean to the north, because of the strong winds he was unable to catch the kite.  The owner was able to retrieve the kite in Sea Girt after several attempts.

November 24th

At Spring Lake Police Headquarters, Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinksi received a report of fraud.

100 block of Vroom Avenue, Sergeant Patrick Gilroy received a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is assisting the investigation.
