Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Joseph Sweeny 25, Toms River was arrested by Patrolman Ryan Reiff based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of fraud from a resident in the 400 block of Salem Avenue.

Officer Harry Cuttrell responded to the 000 block of Lorraine Avenue for a red tailed hawk that was struck by an vehicle and stuck in the grill.  With the assistance of the Associated Human Society the hawk was freed and taken for treatment.

Patrolman William Kelly received a report of theft from a resident from the 100 block of Mercer Avenue.

Patrolman William Kelly received a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle in the 2300 block of Ocean Avenue.

Patrolman Michael Palmer received a report of burglary and theft from the Marucci Park Little League Shack.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.

Officer Kyle Dick received a report of harassment from a resident in the 000 block of Vroom Avenue.

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Darryl Nelson 43, was arrested by Sergeant Patrick Gilroy based on active warrants out of other jurisdictions.

Officer Matthew Phillips received a report of a burglary and theft to the concession stand at Brown Avenue Lot.  Lieutenant Timothy Giblin assisted in the investigation.

Eyal Hubara 49, Hatboro, PA was arrested in the area of Newark Avenue Beach by Officer Kyle Dick.  Hatboro was charge with indecent exposure to a child.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski & Sergeant Patrick Gilroy assisted in the investigation.

Ptl. William Kelly received a report of theft of a bicycle from a residence in the 100 block of Monroe Avenue.

Ptl. Sean Duggan received a report of criminal mischief to a residence in the 000 block of Tuttle Avenue

Patrolman Michael Palmer received a report of theft from a residence in the 300 block of Monmouth Avenue.

Officer David Bowen received a report of burglary to a residence in the 100 block of Washington Avenue.

Patrolman William Kelly received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle in the 100 block of Washington Avenue.

Kyle McKay 26, Freehold was arrested in the 300 block of Washington Avenue by Patrolman Emmett Smith.  McKay was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be heroin, possession of an unknown controlled dangerous substance, unlawful possession of a weapon, use / or under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.
