Michael Goodrich 40, Manalapan was arrested for simple assault in the area of the 100 block of Sussex Avenue, Sergeant Patrick Gilroy made  the arrest.

Patrolman Michael Palmer received a report of theft from the area of the 400 block of Church Street.
During the opening day for the fishing tournament at Spring Lake Officers observed a boat capsize in the middle of the lake near Second Avenue. Â Patrolman Emmett Smith and Patrolman William Kelly responded into the lake to assist the lone occupant of the boat safely to shore. Â All parties were check by Spring Lake First Aid and refused further medical treatment.
Jeremy Barringer 40, Brick was charged with criminal trespass by Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski based on an investigation into an incident from March 1st.
